The project involved the installation of some 440 pieces of split logs, mostly hickory and tamarack/hackmatack/larch.
Kurt Wentzell and his wife split the logs.
The NS Department of Transportation workers did the installation work. The workers were at the beach over a period of four weeks, but their actual work opportunities were dictated by the tide throughout the duration.
